Believing that all children are precious to God:
"Asian Aid gives hope by fostering permanent positive change in the lives of disadvantaged children and their communities."
In India, Nepal and Bangladesh we will assist:
- 6,000 poor children in over 100 Adventist schools and institutions
- Over 100 deaf children in our school for the hearing and speech impaired
- Over 150 blind or partially blind children in 2 blind schools
- Over 300 orphans in 3 orphanages
- Women with horrific, 3rd degree prolapse
- Families in our leper colony
- Poor children in community schools
- Over a 1000 Hungry Money recipients
- Nurses and university students from very poor families
In total, we assist over 6,500 children or young people through school sponsorship. We also operate a health clinic, educate women about the cause of prolapse, build classrooms, repair existing buildings, clothe children, and work hard to keep our sponsors and donors informed. We also support a number of lay ministers.
Central to our mission is building the infrastructure of the local school, empowering it to meet the needs of its own community. Asian Aid is an accredited, supporting ministry of the Seventh-day Adventist Church and is dedicated to sharing God's love.
